Mingguang Oil Storage is located in the south suburb of Mingguang City at No.1, Jinda Road, Daiwan Village, Zhaoxin Town of Mingguang City. It is close to Jinghu Railway, Chihe and borders on No.104 National Highway and Nanluo Express Highway, and Huaihe channel is directly connected to the oil Storage with range of 48km. The storage enjoys advantageous geographical location and convenient oil receiving and shipping via road, railway and water.
Mingguang Oil Storage combines finished oil, petroleum chemical, lubricant reservation, wholesales and transfer. The repository covers an area of 100,645.01m2 and has a construction area of 5,176 m2. The repository adopts the internationally advanced 3-channel receiving and shipping systems for railway, water and road transportation. The special train trestle transportation pipeline is arranged at Nanhuo No.6 Line of Jinghu Railway, which is able to unload 17 railway tank wagons. Oil vessels with capacity of 500 tons can pass through the river around the year. A barge wharf 30 meters long and 8 meters wide is provided at Chihe wharf. Two gates of the oil repository are provided with a charging and loading station of road tank wagon respectively.
Total volume of the repository is 36,000 tons, with 4 tank zones and 36 tanks, among which, 14 light oil tanks with 24,600m3, 6 chemical tanks of 3,600m3 and 16 lubricant tanks of 1,040m3. The light oil tanks include: gasoline 9,800m3 (2 tanks with volume of 2500m3 respectively and 4 tanks with volume of 1,200m3 respectively), diesel 14,800m3 (4 tanks with volume of 2,500m3 respectively, 4 tanks with volume of 1,200m3 respectively), 6 chemical tanks with volume of 600m3. The lubricant tanks include: 12 tanks with volume of 70m3 respectively and 4 tanks with volume of 50m3. There are 12 covered floating roof tanks and 8 dome roof tanks. The chemical tanks are 6 covered floating roof tanks and the lubricant tanks are 16 horizontal tanks.
The repository is provided with double-sided automobile shipping sheds (at the front and back doors for each), the light oil shipping yard is provided with 16 oil crane pipes (8 diesel pipes, 7 gasoline pipes and 1 kerosene pipe), 6 crane pipes for chemical shipping and 6 crane pipes for lubricant. |
